This release notes introduces the updates in ITVDesk 6.2, including the support for new audio encoder, better HikVision NVR/DVR support and some new RTSP features.
Implemented Bidirectional Audio Streaming on Apple Mac platform.
Implemented ReStreaming options for External IP Camera. Streaming without transcoding with less CPU use, direct from external IPCamera.
Implemented new Audio Encoder support: Opus - Interactive Audio Codec, G711A and G722.
Implemented EPOLL support for Linux platform for HTTPS and RTSP client connection. (EPOLL is a model of socket data read notification under linux.
The maximum number of socket data read in SELECT mode is limited on Linux, generally 1024. One rtsp client session requires 8 sockets, so theoretically,
a maximum of 1024/8 rtsp clients can be run at the same time. If user need to run more rtsp or rtsp client sessions at the same time, now ITVDesk can use over EPOLL mode.)
Improvements Webcamera Media source on Mac OSX platform for old MacBook and AirBook computer.
Improvements RTSP Bidirectional Audio functionality.
Improvements H264, H265 RTP packet reception.
Improvements IP Camera Channel and Profile.
Improvements Onvif analytics Motion Detection for support old HikVision, HiLook and HiWatch NVR, DVR and XVR.
