ITVDesk 10.7 update overview
Version 10.7.0 (Build 7.7.11.2), released on September 10, 2026, adds unattended installation and automatic configuration for Microsoft Intune and other software deployment tools running as SYSTEM. Administrators can prepare licensing, camera settings, and startup visibility through the installer rather than opening the ITVDesk interface on each device.
Managed installation and license activation
Administrators can activate a full ITVDesk license using a serial number or request a trial license by email directly from the installer command line. These options extend the silent installation workflow for centrally managed Windows devices.
Automatic Desktop or Webcam camera configuration
A managed installation can automatically create an ITVDesk Desktop or Webcam virtual IP camera. Supported settings include the camera name, ONVIF/VMS username and password, automatic or fixed local IP address, and RTSP port.
Desktop and webcam discovery runs in the active interactive user session. If no user session is available during installation, the configuration workflow automatically continues at the next user logon.
Installer-controlled startup visibility
Managed installations can start ITVDesk normally, minimized to the system tray, or completely hidden. Hidden operation keeps Ctrl+Alt+I enabled for access to ITVDesk.
Unattended configuration security
Sensitive automatic-configuration data is transferred without placing credentials in the scheduled-task command line. Temporary storage is restricted to SYSTEM and local administrators. This release also improves compatibility with Windows Session 0 during managed deployment.
Remote Desktop session transfer
When using Transfer Current RDP Session, ITVDesk now minimizes before transferring the Remote Desktop session to the local console. This prevents the application window from covering the local desktop. If the transfer fails, the ITVDesk window is restored automatically.
Existing installation behavior
Existing interactive installation and normal application startup behavior remain unchanged when automatic-configuration parameters are not supplied.
