Security documentation and STIG
ITVDesk security development is supported by technical security documentation, STIG-related review records and a security changelog. We develop and improve security features with reference to the applicable requirements of the DISA Application Security and Development STIG.
Documentation and assessment findings relate to the product version, platform and configuration reviewed. STIG-related documentation does not, by itself, establish conformity with EU legislation or third-party certification.
CRA preparation and conformity assessment
The relevant EU cybersecurity framework is Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 - Cyber Resilience Act. Article 14 reporting obligations apply from 11 September 2026; the main requirements apply from 11 December 2027.
Preparation covers product classification, cybersecurity risk assessment, component and SBOM review, vulnerability handling, security support and the evidence required for the applicable conformity-assessment procedure.
A formal EU declaration of conformity must identify the product and versions covered, the applicable legislation and the relevant assessment evidence. Code signing, a list of standards or a STIG review alone is not a substitute for that assessment.
